Parent personas, aka parent profiles, are necessary for the success of a school’s marketing plan. As our friends at Hubspot write, a persona is a “semi-fictional representation of your ideal customer based on market research and real data about your existing customers.”
As a school leader, you need to know who you are marketing to. You need to get into their heads and feel their challenges and dreams. There are certain types of people with certain demographics, jobs, values, etc. that you are aiming for. Your personas are the people around whom your school is built. By creating parent personas you will be able to attract the right families using the right messaging.
